Arriving by train in Locarno, locate the 315 bus (direction Vallemaggia) right outside the train station. The bus departs every hour and will transport you to Coglio in 30 minutes. The Cristallina eco-hotel is located about 300 m from the bus stop.
From the north, take the tunnel Saint Gotthard or Saint Bernardino; from the south, pass via the border crossing points of Chiasso or Lago Maggiore. Once in Locarno, follow signs to Vallemaggia. The road up the valley leads you right to Coglio (about 20 km).
Coglio is easily accessible by a good network of trails that allow you to take hiking trips through beautiful natural landscapes, staying in different alpine huts (see vallemaggia.ch).
